Charlie’s Angel’s Soundtrack – Don’t Call Me Angel

Charlie’s Angels soundtrack is being represented by Ariana Grande, Lana Del Rey, and Miley Cyrus called Don’t Call Me Angel. Charlie’s Angels also featured Naomi Scott, who portrayed Princess Jasmine in 2019 live-action of Aladdin. Naomi Scott is also a singer, so I think it will be cool if we are going to see her song in the movie.

I think it’s cool to see the female power on this song, with the title “Don’t Call Me Angel”. I think it represents that women are not always being passive, but they are powerful at times. I think it’s cool to see the female empowerment on pop culture, but I think there are still some diversities that need to be addressed.

For example, we are not seeing enough Asian musician be part of a movie soundtrack, and we need to look upon for it. NIKI whose song was used in Apple Watch was a part of a door opener to other female artists in Asia. I think the song is cool enough to raise the girl power, but we need more representation on the pop-culture itself. I have no hard feelings for Ariana, Lana Del Rey, and Miley Cyrus.

But isn’t it will be cool if NIKI, or any other Asian artists might come together as a collective singer?

On the previous Charlie’s Angels, we can see someone like Lucy Liu who was the badass lady and part of the action film. And I think the Hollywood need someone like Lucy Liu!
