Recently the rapper Lil Dicky released his song called Earth. The meaning of the song is actually a response regarding Climate Change that is happening around the world. So you might experience the no-plastic in the supermarket, or it’s hard to find a straw in the cafe that you guys are visiting. According to the Australian Academic of Science, it’s a changing pattern in the area of weather, ocean, land, and basically the ecosystem. For example, if you lived in Melbourne the weather now are so unstable than ever.

Yes it’s talking about the rapid increase of the Earth! A lot of artists are actually being featured on the song, like Ariana Grande, Kanye West, Sia, and Ed Sheeran! I have to say that the song also included the line of

I mean, there’s so many people out here who don’t think Global Warming’s a real thing. You know? We gotta save this planet. We’re being stupid

I mean it’s true that some people are not really understanding the danger of plastic usage. But being using almost for my whole life it’s totally hard when it’s just disappeared. But the good thing is that we learned to recycle things, but put the trash unto the trash can. Especially from the country that I lived in you can just throw your trash everywhere! THAT’S NOT A GOOD THING. BE RESPONSIBLE TO OUR EARTH!!!

The song also was co-written by Benny Blanco, the guy behind the successful song called EASTSIDE. I think Lil Dicky is known for his humorous song, like the song Freaky Friday that featured a lot of different artists and celebrities. But the idea and direction are still similar, however Freaky Friday is more focusing a life of being popular artists, or celebrities. On the other hand EARTH is more fun educative perspective of the artist Lil Dicky
