Anyways, Kanye dropped his new song called Water on the weekend, that celebrating Easter, as a celebration for Jesus Christ that rise. The snippets were shared on social media all around.

WHAT’S THE MEANING BEHIND WATER?

Well as probably posted by genius.com the lyrics of WATER is very spiritual talking. Based on the lyrics is very Easter-based song. Like on the line The storm may come But we’ll get through it because of your love where it’s talking about God’s love that’s pouring over human, that because God loved His people so much He sent His only Son to die on the cross and risen on the third day. But it’s also talking about when Jesus calming the storm as it’s written on Peter 2:21.

I know I might not be as perfect as Christ But, we’re made up of 90 percent water here Kanye talked about nobody’s is perfect except God. But the thing is human is not made up of 90% of water, but 60-70%, although it’s a spiritual song, it’s not a 100% gospel song.

Lyrics from Snippet

[Intro: Ant Clemons & Choir]
We are water
We are water
We are water
We are water

Purest water
Like a newborn daughter

[Verse 1: Ant Clemons & Choir]
Let your light reflect on me
Take the chlorine out of conversation
Let your light reflect on me
I promise I’m not hiding anything

[Refrain: Ant Clemons, Choir & Both]
It’s water (Water)
We want water
Purest water
Like a newborn daughter

The storm may come
But we’ll get through it because of your love
Either way, we crash like water
Your love, your love’s water
Purest water, we are water

[Verse 2: Ant Clemons]
Let your light reflect on me
Take the chlorine out of conversation
I don’t like these perfect discussions
But, we’re made up of 90 percent water

We are water
Water, water, water
We are water
Water, water, water
We are water
We are water
