SANTAN DAVE debut in 2019

SANTAN DAVE

Santan Dave will make his debut album sooner than later. The artist has shown great talent through his other released, the debut EP will be called Psychodrama, yet the released is still unknown, the debut album wasn’t expected, but he dropped the music video called Black. The music centred on the social issues that include racism issues, and diversities, he filmed the music video between Nigeria and the UK.

As you may know on the movement Black Lives Matters, because some people still having the perception against Black people, but you could see that it’s not only happening to Black people but also the stereotypes against the Asian people in general, we need to work twice harder than other people as well. The people that included on DAVE’s music videos as follows are Damson Idris, Dr Anne-Marie Imafidon, Dina Asher-Smith, Ozwald Boateng, Raheem Sterling, Stormzy and Tiffany Calver.

As you may know Raheem Sterling himself also been part of the victim of racism issues, and including the gun tattoo that centered on the media back at the World Cup, however funny enough when Raheem Sterling scored 2 goals against Spain that help England secured their place on League of Nations people put him as a hero. Raheem put support to younger fans that face the racism issue and told him to stay strong #class

Anyways going back to DAVE, at the end of the story of the music video, supports, and the communities values will help younger generations to understand the meaning of respecting, and accepting other people. It’s not an easy task to follow, there are many parts in this world that got people that still scared to speak off on what they have been through.

I personally think that’s the reason why a platform like 88rising, the KPOP, JPOP also playing such an important role against Asian discrimination. Asian people tend to be stereotyped as a “smart” “intelligent” people, while there are so many Asians that are interested in so many platforms.
